The Baseball United Foundation has announced the creation of the Irish Green Sox, a US-based youth baseball organization with a unique connection to Ireland and Irish culture. Baseball United, the parent organization of the Irish American Baseball Society, has a long history of working to support youth baseball in Ireland, including the creation of Ireland’s gold medal-winning Junior National Baseball Team program.
Irish Green Sox is a nationwide youth baseball organization. We emphasize player and character development. We value sportsmanship and respect for the game of baseball.
The Green Sox organization has strong ties to Ireland and the Irish American community. An Irish cultural component is part of our baseball program for all players. The Green Sox program is open to all players, regardless of their ancestry.

Baseball United currently runs youth baseball programs in Ireland and Northern Ireland with over 2,000 children participating in 2021-2022.
