Slide 3: Irish Youth Baseball Program
Baseball United’s Irish Youth Baseball program is spread out across Ireland and Northern Ireland and includes working with three types of organizations:
- Primary Schools
- GAA Rounders Clubs
- Youth Baseball Clubs
Slide 4: Our Goal is $10,000
We want to raise $10,000. As of this writing, we’re about 20% of the way to our goal of $20,000.
Slide 5: $10,000 = MAINTENANCE of Current Programs
By raising $10,000 we will be able to maintain our current programs including some modest expansion into a few more schools and GAA Rounders clubs.
Slide 6: Our Secret Weapon: Small Donations!
We’re going to raise the money with small donations. We are asking members of the Irish American Baseball Society to donate $1, $5, or $10.
Slide 7: Max Donation = $10
Our recommended maximum donation amount is $10. We want people to understand that their small donation can make an impact.
If you’d like to donate more than $10, please donate $10 now. You’ll be able to donate again in a few weeks when this fundraising drive is over.
Slide 8: Let’s Do the Math!
So… is this possible? Can we REALLY raise $10,000 through small donations? We think we can! If 40% of IABS members give $1, we’ll hit our $10,000 goal!
Slide 9: What If… The $100,000 Scenario
Slide 10: How Would We Use $100,000?
Slide 11: What If We Fall Short of $100,000?
In all likelihood, we’ll wind up somewhere between $10,000 and $100,000 – and that’s OK! We’ll be able to grow the Irish Youth Baseball program at a modest pace, teaching more kids to play baseball and laying the groundwork for future growth.
Slide 12: Make Your Donation and Share It With Your Friends on Social Media
Back to the fundraiser… After you donate, it’s really important that you share your donation on social media. This is where the power of large numbers of people donating small amounts of money really kicks in.
