About Us
For Love of the Game and Irish Pride!
We’re a US-based nonprofit organization that celebrates the Irish impact on baseball and supports the growth of the game in Ireland. We provide education and resources that help our members deepen their knowledge of Irish heritage, history, and culture. Our community includes players, coaches, media professionals, and fans from every level of amateur and professional baseball.
Membership in the Irish American Baseball Society is open to anyone with an interest in baseball and Ireland, regardless of their ancestry.
The Irish American Baseball Society is a non-profit subsidiary of Emerald Diamond International (Federal Tax ID: 20-4623222).
Our Work
History
We research the rich history of baseball in Ireland, dating back to the late 19th century. We also celebrate the Irish impact on the development of baseball in America, through the Irish American Baseball Hall of Fame.
Culture
We foster connections between Irish American players, coaches, media, executives, and fans, helping them celebrate and explore their Irish heritage while uniting through a shared love of baseball.
Development
We are dedicated to supporting the growth of youth baseball programs in Ireland and America, by promoting opportunities for young athletes to thrive and enjoy the game.

The Irish American Baseball Society is not aligned with any religious belief. We welcome baseball fans of all faiths and denominations and we welcome faith-based organizations to participate in our volunteer programs, so long as they meet our nonprofit partner eligibility criteria and fulfill a strictly charitable purpose.
We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all volunteers, partners, staff, contractors, and Board members. We aim to build relationships with a wide spectrum of partner organizations and charitable causes as we work to accomplish our mission.
