The Irish Baseball Heritage Awards recognize the achievements of players on the baseball field, in the classroom, and in the community.

The awards are the latest initiative of the Irish American Baseball Society to recognize the Irish impact on the game of baseball. The organization also runs the Irish American Baseball Hall of Fame.

Award applications and nominations will be reviewed by a panel of current and former major league players and coaches, led by baseball legend Steve Garvey. Other panel members include fellow Irish American Baseball Hall of Famers Sean Casey, Mike Sweeney, and Joe McEwing.

Award winners will be announced in July 2023.

Parents and coaches are encouraged to nominate players. Players can also nominate themselves for consideration.
