Sean Casey on Irish Heritage
I always loved my heritage because my dad was so big onthat. They had traced it back – i believe it was during the potato famine, two teenage Casey boys came over from County Cork and i believe they were up in Vermont. And I just remember that story when I was younger, just being so proud. My mom, her maiden name is McCue and her mom’s maiden name was Gilmartin.
We all took a lot of pride in in being from ireland and so, you know, it’s always meant a lot to me. It’s just been just always been a big part of our life.

Every day, she’s like, “Dad you want to bake cookies? Dad you want to bake a three layer cake? Dad do you want to bake? We were baking legit stuff, like cupcakes with, like, filling in it. You know, like next level stuff. I’m like, “Jillian, this is unbelievable!”
