We’re happy to say that the Irish American Baseball Society finished the 2022 MLB season with a strong September!
On Saturday, September 17, 2022, we held our first ballpark meetup at Citi Field in New York. Irish American Baseball Society members watched as the hometown Mets defeated the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates, by a score of 5-1. Special thanks to member Bernard Connaughton for organizing the meetup!
The following Saturday, we gathered at Camden Yards in Baltimore. The hometown Orioles scored four runs in the ninth inning to overcome the visiting Houston Astros, by a score of 11-10. Special thanks to member Craig Collins-Young for organizing the meetup!
