Irish Wolfhounds Sign John O’Reilly

The Irish Wolfhounds have signed pitcher John O'Reilly. O'Reilly has pitched at the AAA level for the past three seasons.

The Irish Wolfhounds, the world’s first All-Irish Baseball Club, have signed pitcher John O’Reilly. O’Reilly has pitched at the AAA level for the past three seasons and has been with the Pirates organization since 2018. Prior to signing with the Pirates, O’Reilly pitched for Rutgers University.

The Northvale, NJ resident, who pitched for Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan, NJ, is excited by the opportunity to pitch for the Wolfhounds:

“My family is from Cork, Cavan, Longford, and Leitrim,” explained O’Reilly. “I played Gaelic football from the age of six until college for St. Joseph’s GFC out of Bergen County, NJ, as well as the NY fielé team that competed in Kildare, Ireland. Needless to say, representing the Irish community is very important to me.”
