Irish Wolfhounds Pitcher Ryan O’Rourke was on hand for WooSox Irish Heritage Night at Polar Park, on June 21, 2024, to meet fans and speak to the media. O’Rourke, who pitched for the Minnesota Twins and New York Mets, threw out the first pitch to kick off the festivities.
Afterwards, Ryan spoke with fans at a special meet and greet event on the concourse. Fans took advantage of the opportunity to take photos, ask questions, and receive autographs from a former big leaguer!
Later, Ryan visited the broadcast booth to discuss the Irish Wolfhounds, the Irish American Baseball Society, and the movement to help Ireland get to the World Baseball Classic.
