Congratulations to Irish American Baseball Society members Kevin McCarty and Brendan Sullivan! Kevin and Brendan were recently recognized by Irish America magazine as part of the prestigious Irish America Business 100.
The Irish America Business 100 celebrates the outstanding achievements of Irish-American and Irish-born leaders who represent some of the world’s most innovative and influential companies and organizations.
Kevin is a cyber risk executive who works for The Cigna Group as the Chief Information Security Officer of US Healthcare. Brendan is the director of Farley-Sullivan Funeral Homes, a family-owned funderal home in Connecticut, and is a volunteer firefighter in Glastonbury, CT.
Besides being baseball fans and proud members of the Irish American Baseball Society, Kevin and Brendan have unique ties to Irish Baseball: Kevin’s great-grandfather, Andy Leonard, was the first professional baseball player born in Ireland and Brendan is an outfielder on the Irish Wolfhounds Baseball Club!
