On Friday, June 7, 2025, San Francisco Giants manager Bob Melvin was officially inducted into the Irish American Baseball Hall of Fame.
The ceremony took place at Oracle Park before the Giants’ Irish Heritage Night celebration. The presentation was made by Paul Cunnie and John Donohue of the Irish American Baseball Society, along with Micheál Smith, Consul General of Ireland in San Francisco. Congratulations, Bob!
